King's Daughters Luncheon Who: All Ladies and Girls When: Saturday, May 3rd, 10 am - 12:30 pm Speaker: Mrs. Lynn Martindale Theme: Reflecting Him (II Cor. 3:18) Tickets: $10/adult, $6/children under 10; max household cost $25 In honor of women and girls, a King’s Daughters Luncheon will be held, once again, graciously served by Pansy Fox and her special team including several men from the church.  It promises to be one of those “You-don’t-want-to-miss” kind of events.  Bring your neighbors, friends, mothers, aunts, grandmas and daughters – all are welcome.  We will discover reflections of several kinds before the event ends!  The guest speaker will challenge us to reflect Godliness taken from II Corinthians 3:18.  A special setting specifically for picture taking is planned, so come early.  Pictures to cherish will be taken at the decorated setting.  Questions regarding the event can be directed to the church office (770-993-3635) or to Judy Matlock (678-234-6146).   The guest speaker, Mrs. Lynn Martindale, from Wilmington, North Carolina, has a keen interest in guiding and encouraging girls and women in their pursuits of living a life that honors God.  She currently leads two Bible studies and teaches and disciples often at various settings, including camps.  God’s standards of godliness and how to apply them are central themes of her presentations.  She and her husband, David, have been married 41 years, have four adult children and six grandchildren.  One of their four children is Kent Martindale, an active member of Lebanon Baptist Church.

Ladies Bible Studies

Our Women's Ministry centers around two Bible Study Groups - a Thursday Morning Women's Bible Study and a Thursday Evening Women's Bible Study. Each school year (or season) we select and theme and some study material.

These will resume in the fall of 2008!

Women's Ministry Overview

Lebanon Baptist's Women's Ministry is a dynamic ministry for women of all ages. Through Bible studies, retreats, banquets, and Ladies Friendship Brunches, we seek to encourage women to become devoted followers of Jesus Christ who bring glory to God. Our desire is for women to grow spiritually, reach out to those who do not know Christ, encourage and serve each other, pray for one another and enjoy fellowship together. Our role model is the woman described in Proverbs 31.

Our regularly scheduled activities include a Ladies Morning Bible Study (Thursdays 9:30 - 11:00 am during the school year), a Ladies Evening Bible Study (usually every other Thursday evening 7-8:30 pm during the school year), quarterly Friendship Brunches, a Fall Retreat (a weekend away with a guest speaker), a Spring Conference (a weekend in March at our church with a special speaker and "breakout sessions") and a King's Daughters Banquet (in May).  We also have a weekly "Power Connection" on Wednesdays before the adult Bible Study.  This is a special time of praise and prayer with other ladies.

Our theme for the year is "Our Lives....An Instrument of Righteousness" Rom. 6:13. What a privilege to be a part of the Lord's work, to minister to and alongside the women of Lebanon, to share what God has done in our lives! Ministry is our responsibility. God calls each of us to serve Him as "instruments of righteousness."
