Pastoral Staff
Senior Pastor: Rev. Paul Mann

Born and raised in Iowa, Paul Mann was
saved at an early age and answered
God's call to vocational ministry
while still a teenager. He
graduated from Faith Baptist Bible
College with a B.S. in Theology and
Biblical Studies, and also holds a
master's degree in Biblical Studies
from Northwest Baptist Seminary and
a B.S. in Business Administration
from Upper Iowa University.
Pastor Mann has been a senior pastor
for 33 years, shepherding churches
in Iowa, Washington State, and most
recently, Pana, Illinois. Pastor Mann is
married to Jean, who has been an
active part of the ministry in each
church that God has called them to.
The Manns have three grown children
and five grandchildren.

Associate Pastor: Rev. Gene Matlock

Pastor Matlock, Associate Pastor of
Christian Education and Outreach,
has over 25 years of fulltime
Christian ministry. For over 12
years he represented Regular Baptist
Press as a Christian Education
Specialist, during which he helped
develop Christian Education programs
for local churches across the United
States, Australia and Canada. He
also has conducted workshops at
National Christian Education
Conferences. Before that, he served
as a Senior Pastor, Church Planter,
Associate Pastor of Christian
Education, Youth and Outreach in
Faribault and Burnsville, Minnesota.
Pastor Matlock has received his
Bible Theological Education from
Faith Baptist Bible College, Ankeny,
Iowa, He and Judy live in Woodstock
GA. and have been married for 34 years.

Youth Pastor: Jacob Sechrest

Jacob was born in Durham, North
Carolina. With his dad being a
pastor, Jacob heard the gospel early
and at the age of five was led to
Christ by his dad after a revival
service. At the age of eighteen
Jacob surrendered his life to follow
God in the area of missions and go
anywhere God led him. He attended
Pensacola Christian Academy and
graduated in 2001. He furthered his
education at Piedmont Baptist
College in Winston-Salem, North
Carolina, where he received a
Bachelor's degree in Bible with a
concentration in Missions in 2005.
His ministry experience is broad and
includes teaching, preaching,
discipleship and leading music. He
and his wife Jamie have been married
since 2009 and are currently
missionary appointees with Baptist
Mid-Missions on deputation going to
New Zealand.

Administrative Staff
Children's Ministry Coordinator:
Kathleen Harris
Kathleen grew up in Michigan. She
was saved as a teenager and felt the
Lord leading her to the mission
field while in college at Pensacola
Christian College. She had the
privilege of serving as a missionary
for several years in various parts
of the world. Kathleen served as a
missionary to missionary kids
teaching and training MK's and
working alongside missionaries in
Togo, West Africa, Peru, South
America, and Canada. She has worked
in children's ministry for many
years both stateside and abroad. She
recently furthered her education by
attending Liberty University where
she received a Master's in Education
specializing in school counseling.

Facilities Manager: Art Humphrey(also Director of Offsite Outreach Ministries and Benevolence Coordinator)
Art has kept the church building in
excellent working condition and the
church grounds attractively
landscaped ever since 1988.
His many talents and servant's heart
often initiate short term mission
projects, help for widows and those
in need, and ministry in the local
prison and women's shelter, besides
his busy schedule overseeing set up
and clean up for every church event,
construction and repair projects,
and all the seasonal grounds upkeep!
He leads the Sweet Spirit ensemble
and works as the chief sound
technician. Art is also an
ordained deacon and serves on the
missions committee. He and his
wife Mona have three grown children
and four grandchildren.

Financial Secretary: Carla Mueller

Carla has served as the part-time
financial secretary since 2001, taking
care of the daily financial needs of
the church, purchasing supplies, and
helping with a number of other
secretarial duties and special
projects. Carla has served on
the Women's Council and is a member
of Sweet Spirit and the choir.
She and her husband Ken were married
at Lebanon in 1993. |

Administrative Assistant: Susan Flynt

Susan began working
at the church in August 2006 but is
no stranger to the LBC family. She
has been actively involved in
various ministries at LBC for most
of her life. Susan creates weekly
and monthly publications as well as
numerous other communication
projects including pastors’ Power
Point presentations in addition to
handling the general
responsibilities of the church
office. Susan met and married her
husband David here at LBC, they have
three sons. |

Support Staff
Food Services Coordinator: Pansy Fox

For over 12 years Pansy has overseen
preparation and service of the great
Wednesday night fellowship dinners.
She also serves as chairwoman of the
Hospitality Committee, which handles
the food for almost every event that
requires it (most events here!) -
special meetings, receptions, the
Fall Festival, the Easter breakfast,
and more. She and her husband
Carleton have one grown daughter and
have been members since 1970. |

Nursery Coordinator: Laurie Jerram

"Miss Laurie" has kept the nursery to a
high standard since she became the
nursery coordinator in 1992,
providing a safe and nurturing
environment for every child. She is passionate about making our
nursery not merely a babysitting
service, but also a place where
children's lives are touched with
the love of God from their earliest
days. Laurie's husband, Paul,
immigrated to the States from
England. The Jerrams have three children:
Andrew, Rachel, and Tim. |
